Insurgency

Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat is a award winning total conversion mod for Valve Software’s Source Engine. Insurgency is a multiplayer, tactical first person shooter, and implements elements of realism, in an attempt to increase player immersion and promote teamwork. The game is set in Iraq, however some maps are set in Afghanistan.


I worked on this mod as a Level Designer primarily but i also created many art assets during my time on the team, including textures and models. Some of them can be seen in the screenshots. In 2006 i was the project leader for a couple of months during a time when the usual leader had to step down due to school commitments.
My work includes: Complete level design and polish from start to finish (ins_baghdad), art and optimizing passes (ins_ramadi, ins_sinjar), environment art (among other things: many textures, backdrop buildings, foliage, props, skyboxes)
